Merry Christmas George Bailey

By Jim MacNeal
Director:  Lesley McVey
Producer: Jim Windsor
DECEMBER 17 - 31, 2015

The 1946 movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” is one of the most popular films in American cinema – particularly during the Christmas Season. In 1949 Lux Radio Theater created a wonderful radio play of this story, which, like the movie, starred James Stewart and Donna Reed. In 2002, this heartwarming story was adapted into a staged version of the radio play.  Entitled “Merry Christmas, George Bailey”, this production takes the audience into the recording studio of Lux Radio Theater as the cast bring this timeless classic to life for their radio audiences.  It is complete with all the sound effects and commercial breaks, and is a Christmas event not to be missed.

Note: There will be a New Years Eve Dinner and a special New Years Eve Performance at 9 PM with champagne and canapes to follow. Contact the Box Office for more details.
