ECHO Youth

We are delighted to share that in September 2018 the ECHO Players board approved the formation of the ECHO Players Youth Theatre group.

Comprised of a dedicated and hard working group of young people from throughout Oceanside, this newly minted group is 100% youth run.

Under the facilitation of an adult mentor, youth are granted the opportunity to experience and learn about all aspects of theatre. From casting and directing to stage management and technical aspects, members of our Youth Theatre are given the chance to truly participate in bringing productions to the stage.

The group’s first production, Tracks by Peter Tarsi was entered in the Vancouver Island Juried One Act Festival in November 2018 where it was awarded “Best Ensemble” and honorable mention for “Best Director”.

In May 2019, ECHO Youth took to the stage once more with their rendition of David Ives’ Words, Words, Words. It was an audience hit!

The group is currently planning their 2019-2020 activities. Please watch social media and the website for the latest info on auditions and involvement opportunities. To get involved or for more information about ECHO Youth please contact:
