ECHO YOUTH THEATRE (EYT)

EYT is a youth run theatre program sponsored by ECHO Players. Under the leadership of an adult mentor, youth are granted the opportunity to experience and learn about all aspects of theatre. From casting and directing, to stage management and technical aspects, members of EYT are given the chance to bring their own productions to the ECHO stage, in the Spring Showcase!

ONE ACT PLAY Festival - November 3-9

SUMMER EDUCATION PROGRAMS

• JuMP!
  A one week program for ages 6-12. No experience necessary. Daily classes in singing, choir, dancing, acting, and FUN! Classes ran July 21st-25th, 2025, from 9am to 3pm daily
  This summer, featured: "Stars"
  Performed: Saturday, July 26th. Congratulations to all the future actors, dancers and singers on a great performance!

• 27th Annual Summer Youth Theatre Workshop:
  Introduced students to the magical world of theatre. Ages 8-14 will learn what it takes to put on a show through teamwork, improv games, and character development, memorization, acting, voice & movement techniques with performances for friends & family on the final day. Our experienced and encouraging program leaders support students in developing self confidence & creativity while fostering friendships & fun.
  Classes ran July 14th-20th, 2025, from10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Saturday.
  Performance: Sunday, July 20th at 2:00pm & 6:30. Congratulations to all the future actors, dancers and singers on a great performance!

• 2025 Teen Musical Theatre: $425
  Featuring: "Footloose - Youth Edition"
  A three week program for ages 13-19. Instruction in singing, acting, dancing, stagecraft. Program runs July 28th - August 17th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays.
  Performances: Friday, August 15th at 7:30 pm, Saturday, August 16th, at 2pm and 7:30 pm & Sunday, August 17th at 2:00 pm

• DUE TO RENOVATIONS AT THE VILLAGE THEATRE, THIS YEAR’S PRODUCTION WILL BE AT KNOX UNITED, 345 PYM IN PARKSVILLE.

  FOOTLOOSE: YOUTH EDITION is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
